2014 Critical Illness Insurance Forum a Huge Success
In September, NACII, LIMRA, LOMA and the Society of Actuaries held their annual joint Critical Illness Insurance conference in Baltimore, MD. Designed primarily for home office personnel, this conference attracted 165 attendees from many carriers in the CII marketplace as well as companies planning to enter it. Sessions on Underwriting, Claims, Marketing/Sales and even CII product filing issues were informative and well attended. Networking opportunities were also plentiful, including a large group of attendees who went "out to the ballpark" to see the Baltimore Orioles clinch their division title. As in the past, NACII was responsible for the program content and presentations.
